Gordon nixed the first version, last year. I have just now rewritten it from top to bottom, adding some new scenes and cutting about 4000 words. It has been resubmitted. Here's hoping.

The "marionettes" stories, which include two that have already seen print, are about aliens who dance in a weird ritual. Some compare their movements to those of marionettes. There is another, secondary resonance, but that's one of the slow reveals of the series.
