I found some references online (most dated nearly a year ago) about Prime Books getting into the RPG business. I can't find any information about this listed on their site, though. Is this still the case?

Yep! The first game, Malcolm Sheppard's Dominion should be out next year. Two more games are also under development.

Nick, do you know enough about the game to give a capsule summary? Setting, mood, character types, rules engine, etc. Or can you give a pointer to a site with that info?

All Prime games are going to be D20, under the OGL.

Dominion is essentially a game taking place in a world where the Divine Right of Kings is actual fact. Thus, technology and the rise of the bourgeoisie as a social class was unable to undermine the aristocracy. The ruling class's special relationship with God gives them some superhuman abilities, and magic is real as well. Socially, the world has both stagnated and become decadent.

if you need a visual reference, think of the version of Romeo And Juliet starring Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio that came out about eight-nine years ago. Gangs driving cars and dueling with 9mms, but within a framework of ruling families and fuedal war.

The other two games are a medieval fantasy and wacky post-Singularity space game.
