So, is this going to be a hardcover, trade paperback, or both? Too far off for pricing to have been set, right? (If the order question was directed at me, just send email and I'll put you on a list.)

Hey, that's great, Robert! Jeez, saw you all weekend at the con and you never mentioned it. Modesty can be carried too far . . .

I just saw this great news, Robert - congratulations! I'm looking forward to the novel. (I put IN SPRINGDALE TOWN on my list of best books I read in 2003, at Fantastic Metropolis, and I wasn't the only one who did so).

By the way, please visit the artist's website at http://www.janeandrews.co.uk/, there's some really wonderful stuff in there.

Thanks all!

And please, judge the book by its cover. I hope the inside is half as smashing as the outside.

The book is now available for pre-ordering at a couple of places:

http://www.clarkesworldbooks.com/book_WEXCIRHC.html
http://store.yahoo.com/shocklines/ciofgrdebnob.html

and I've updated my website: www.robertfreemanwexler.net , moved Springdale to a separate page and added info for the novel.

Hi Mr. JK,

It's August, thanks. Prime will have a table at Worldcon, so maybe you can get it there. Not sure if you can get in to the dealer's room without a membership though (but maybe you can borrow someone's to take a spin around the room). Unfortunately, I'm not going to be there. I'll be at World Fantasy, but I guess you won't be.

Mr. Wexler:

I actually will be getting a copy through Clarkesworld Books, although I may go bother Mr. Wallace in the dealer's room. I know at World Fantasy I got in to the dealer's room without a badge, but Worldcon can be more strict.

I wish I could go to World Fantasy (as I sold more EV in one afternoon at World Fantasy than I did in a week at Worldcon), but I don't think I can get to Tempe...I will be at World Fantasy in 2005 come hell or high water.

Some day we have to go to Jungle Jim's.

Bob,

That's a fantastic cover! Any chance I can get a review copy? Email me at acronus@yahoo.com if so.

Thanks!
