Congrats on your forthcoming PS Publishing collection. I have their Elizabeth Hand and Joe Hlll collections, they produce beautiful books.
Is there a table of contents available for the collection?

Hi Roger!

I'm excited about this collection. PS does indeed produce beautiful books!

The TOC is still sort of wobbly, but I'll try to post something when it's all sorted out. But for sure it will contain three big novellas: "Left of the Dial," "Lighthouse Summer," and "Red Shift." Ms. Hand is doing an introduction.

Very cool! I've purposely avoided reading your short fiction, hoping to read it in one gulp, under one cover, some day. This is great news. Do you think we'll see it published in '06?

'06 is the plan, but PS has a heavy production schedule, so I wouldn't be surprised if it winds up in '07. Tentative title of the collection is from a story to appear there for the first time, "Twilight of the Dogs." Although as with everything else, that may change!

Are you considering including your collaborations with Ms. Hand: "Jangletown" and "Lucifer Over Lancaster"? I don't think these 2 stories have been reprinted since their original appearances.

Roger, I have been thinking about those stories, but I don't own any rights to them, and it could be a problem to obtain permission from the copyright holders -- I'm not even sure if the copyright is solely with DC or if it's shared with the editor of the anthologies, Martin Greenberg. Probably worth looking into though.

Jeff and Vera -- thanks guys! Hope to see you both at the Nebs or elsewhere soon!

More collection news . . . I just turned the (hopefully) final contents in to Nick Gevers, who I'm excited to report will be my editor on this project.

The collection, now tentatively titled Everland, is (again, tentatively) slated for publication in early 2008!

Hey Paul, that great! Do you think you'll be able to get a new story together for it?

Thanks, Ellen!

Robert, the collection now has about 5 previously unpublished stories, some fairly old but all brought up to snuff over the last month or so. The story I'm currently working on, which gets longer and longer, and slower and slower, isn't going to be done in time, I fear.
