The Tally disease guide reading went extremely well. About 60 people came out for the event, the local paper did an article on the guide, and we sold a lot of copies. Brian Evenson, Michael Bishop, Nathan Ballingrud, and R.M. Berry all read from their diseases, while I MC'd. Michael and Brian also did a gig at the local library that morning to promote their new collections. That night, we all went out for dinner at a great new Tallahassee restaurant called Bonefish. It was all a lot of fun.

Here are a few photos from the event.

The gentleman to JeffV's right in the last photo was Mark Shamis, the consulting physician on the guide.

- always grateful for book-signing opportunities to put a cramp in my right hand, Lefty. And, again, thanks for posting the photographs.

Good Lord, I'm blinded by that guy's bald pate! Couldn't you have asked him to cover up that head!?
