I want to contact a bookseller in Argentina and was wondering if someone could translate the following phrase into passable Spanish:
"Does this book contain a short story by Eddy C. Bertin?"

Somebody should check this, but I think you want something like:
¿Quiero que saber, en esto libro, hay un cuento por Eddy C. Bertin?
I ran it through the translation program at
http://ets.freetranslation.com/ and got this back:
I want that to know, in this book, there is a story by Eddy C. Bertin?

Thanks for the help, guys. Last night I ran it through Babelfish and got "Este libro contener uno corto historia por Eddy c. Bertin," which translated back to English as, "This book to contain one short history by Eddy c. Bertin?" So yeah, I definitely needed some human help.

Well, I received a return e-mail from the seller and was wondering if one of you kind folks could translate it for me:
"Estimado Sr. Dodson:
Este libro no tiene cuentos de Eddy C. Bertin.
Tenemos otro libro de la misma editorial con el título LAS MEJORES HISTORIAS
DE FANTASMAS, que tiene 'El ataud en el mar' de Eddy

Esteemed Mr. Dodson:
This book does not have any short stories by Eddy C. Bertin. We have another book from the same publisher by the name of THE BEST GHOST STORIES, which has "The Coffin of the Sea" by Eddy C. Bartin.

Ah, Eddy C. Bertin. Fond memories of many 70's editions of The Year's Best Horror.
