Logging in gives one the notion that one is on a ship and has been on shore leave or something when away from that particular computer site. Apparently the user has to be with the "all present and accounted for" to be entered into the ship's daily log. Since this form exists at sites all over the world, I would call this an example of mass hypnosis. I don't agree that a site is a ship.
