Sybil's Garage, a speculative fiction magazine, is looking for stories for its second issue. Stories should tend toward the strange, but don't have to. For the full guidelines, please check out our website here:

No name writers, no sample stories, no physical product--why should anyone pay $2 for a look at your mag?

Nick? hello? Paging Nick Mamatas? Where is the flame thrower?

For myself, I'm flattered that the Night Shade Message boards are deemed spam worthy by the emag folk.

Be kind, guys.

Where are you coming from, Nicholas? Matt just put in his request for submissions. Where - in his post or in the "guidelines" link therein - does it ask you to pay $2? Of course, he may have mentioned the cost of the magazine on his website but so what?

And in what way is it spamming, Jeremy?

Best.

It's a general comment on his magazine--that the concept is flawed. One of the flaws I pointed out, at least, is easily rectified. He should thank me.
