Trunk Stories
Posted on Monday, November 22, 2004 - 10:52 pm:

Trunk Stories #2 is back from the printer and I'm accepting orders. This one's available in two editions; the regular (44 pages, half-legal) and a special edition containing a hand-crafted pop-up centerfold. The special edition is limited to 100 numbered copies and goes for a couple bucks more.

I'm very happy with the way this one turned out. It's a solid collection of fiction and poetry (including work from Eric Gardner, John Grey, David Connerley Nahm, Mark Rayner, Christina Sng, and Nelson Stanley) and my garage attempt at paper-engineering has been fun and instructive.

You can purchase both editions (as well as the first issue) at www.ProjectPulp.com.

Mission Statement:
Trunk Stories is a magazine of fiction, poetry, essays, and reviews that offers the reader some of the eccentric wonder of the 18th century cabinet of curiosities. With selections from notable writers of horror and speculative fiction, genre scholars, and exciting new talents, Trunk Stories is the place to look for the unique gems and strange fruits that have fallen between the cracks of traditional fiction magazines.

Received my copy in the mail yesterday. Very cool. I actually got a limited edition pop-up edition; it's way cool. This is a good new zine, you should check it out.

Mr Smith: Have you got any of those neato pop-up ones left?

I just got paid.

All the best

Nels.
