Yep. If nothing else, it's nice to see a board based in MY time zone!!! And the lineup's ducky.

Hello,

I'm curious about the upcoming "Trujillo" novel from Lucius Shepard. Is this a brand-new novel or will it be a tied-together novelization of his Trujillo short stories (a la Life During Wartime)?

I believe the Night Shade version of Trujillo is a re-printing of the short novel that concluded the PS Publishing collection of the same name.

So, you can probably expect a similar-sized book as Shepard's Viator, which Night Shade published last fall (it's a damn good read, I should add).

How long should a writer wait before querying on a novel submission?
