We're finally posting some of the covers for our fall books.

First up, The Algebraist, that sexy space opera Hugo-nominee from Iain M. Banks, due out in September. Cover art by Lee Moyer, design by Claudia Noble.

Sweet is right. And hey, space squids. Margaret Atwood would approve.

I suppose you guys won't be able to change the "Hugo" banner should the book win?

We're pretty happy with this one. This is the cover to Liz Williams' Snake Agent, the first Detective Inspector Chen novel. Cover art by the amazing Jon Foster, design by Claudia Noble.

I thought you meant the magic of Jack Frost, the fall tints covering the landscape. Well, you've got some nice covers. I didn't like the squid in space too much, but the others look good, the last somewhat of the Da vinci school of art, or J. Allen St. John in a good mood.

London Revenant - Conrad Williams. Due out in October. Cover art by Caniglia, design by Claudia Noble. A very cool book that I have high hopes for.

I've never read Williams but London Revenant sounds cool and "looks" dynamite! I'll definitely be purchasing a copy!

Hi - I felt I had to go public on my reaction to the cover NSB did for London Revenant. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. They've done a great job. I only hope the novel does it justice...

Related to covers, you're mentioned in an article at the Book Standard on whether bad covers on galleys stops reviews
