2005 title announcements!
We've just announced the bulk of our 2005 books. New titles by Joe R. Lansdale, Joe Haldeman, Terry Lamsley, William Hope Hodgson, Liz Williams, Matthew Hughes, Conrad Williams, Kit Reed, Steven Erikson and more!
It's not quite everything though, so keep an eye on the site for a few more announcements that we think you're going to like.
Two new titles shipping!
On Monday we'll pick up The State of the Art (the new collection from Iain M. Banks) and Leviathan 4. All preorders should be shipped out by the end of the week, except for the Leviathan 4 limiteds. We're still waiting on the signature sheets (10 signatures!) for those, but they should be ready soon.

Jason, I am totally psyched about this.
The forthcoming book coming out with NightShade, that is, not Mr Urell's domestic!
Posted on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 - 02:20 am:
Well, I bought your book, Liz, so you can be excited when my domestic beats me over the noggin' with it, if that helps.... It's not so very thick, is it? I mean, we're talking Nietzche-long and not Robert "Got me a brick" Jordan-big, aren't we? Or do I need to stock up on bandages and aspirin?

No, your current medical effects will probably be fine as it is indeed not very good for propping up tables, holding open doors etc.
I like to think of it as a 'slim volume.'

Seeing as NightShade will be bringing Steven Erikson's recent short novels to the US, I'll ask:
what do people think of this series ?
Posted on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 - 06:23 pm:
I haven't read any of them yet; I've heard him compared favorably to GRRM, R. Scott Bakker, John Marco, etc. Big Fat "Gritty" Military Fantasy.

So in what months are THE COLLECTED JORKENS 3 and LETTERS FROM NEW YORK likely to appear?
Posted on Saturday, December 11, 2004 - 06:53 am:
If all goes well, Jorkens vol. 3 and Letters from New York should be at the printer in about a week or so, and will be out sometime in January.
With Hodgson 3 to follow in February.
