Issue frickin' 11? I haven't even received my copy of #10 (there were problems with label printing...I think it involved getting ready for a move and having a baby around or something; it's all sorted out now; all remaining subscriber/pre-order/individual sales are going out tomorrow, reviewers later)

Anyway, here is the line-up for issue #11, coming out in time for World Fantasy:

FICTION
Tobias Buckell - The Duel
Scott W. Carter - How to Get Rid of Your Monster
Matthew Cheney & Jeffrey Ford - Quitting Dreams
Nikki Kimberling - Sweetness and Light
Jennifer Pelland - Last Bus
John B. Rosenman - Nine Billion and Counting
Sonya Taaffe - Bar Golem
Steve Rasnic Tem - Sometimes I Get Lost
Mary Turzillo - A Punctuated Romance
Catherynne M. Valente - Milk and Apples
Edd Vick - Moon Does Run
Liz Williams - Tiger, Tiger
Marly Youmans - The Geode

POETRY
Christina Sng - Miss Cossie's Pies
Christina Sng - The World's Edge
Catherynne M. Valente - Anatomy of a Yes
Catherynne M. Valente - The Innkeeper's Wife

Good stuff!

And because I'm an idiot, I have to say that the title of the second Catherynne M. Valenta poem is "The Inkmaker's Wife" not what I have listed above.

Great cover. I don't know where Thom D. gets his ideas from. They're utterly fascinating, and full of humour, as well as pleasing to the eye. I find myself feeling as much a sense of anticipation for his designs as I do for the stories coming up in up-coming issues EV.

And, jings, that's one hell of a line up. Looking forward to this one.

Yeah, Thom had trouble squeezing all the names in, but he found room in the end!

John:

Nice meeting you at WFC. My copy of EV is great and all, but I'm really looking forward to the Caselberg homoerotic gladiator masterpiece we've been promised...

So am I, so am I. Although, he promises that it won't be homoerotic since the gladiators will be female...
