I'm lucky because my ISP lets you run filters on the mail server that will bounce spam, sort and divert mail, that sort of thing. Invaluable in handling the amounts of spam and virus-generated junk email that are sloshing around the net now. Invaluable, that is, if you don't set it up like a total dimwit, and accidentally send certain mail to an acccount you never check, and only find out about it ten months later only to discover that you've got 40,000 emails waiting for you, some of which might actually not be spam so you have to sort through the whole lot to salvage the twenty or so that weren't selling viagra or dodgy stock tips, or touting a product that would increase your penis weight (sic) or the millions available to you from a Nigerian gentleman if you would only help out...

Fortunately, I'm not a lackwit fool so I'd never do anything like that. Oh no.
