I am delighted to announce that BANNER OF SOULS has been shortlisted for the 20th Arthur C. Clarke Award.

The full shortlist is:

NEVER LET ME GO - Kazuo Ishiguro (Faber)
LEARNING THE WORLD - Ken MacLeod (Orbit)
PUSHING ICE - Alastair Reynolds (Gollancz)
AIR - Geoff Ryman (Gollancz)
ACCELERANDO - Charles Stross (Orbit)
BANNER OF SOULS - Liz Williams (Tor)

Updated: and also very pleased to see SNAKE AGENT on the Locus recommended reading list along with 2 short stories. I'm in such good company on all these lists, and it is great to see so many friends there. Congratulations to all of you.

Liz, congratulations!

Look forward to seeing you at the ceremony. :-)

Just got Darkland and hoping to start on it soon - any chance PanMac will do The Snake Agent as well?

Thanks, Lavie - you too! Be good to catch up.

Not sure about SA - they've passed on it once. But we'll see.
