Here is the sexy sexy cover to Snake Agent. The first in Liz's Detective Inspector Chen series, due out in September. Art by Jon Foster, design by Claudia Noble.

I've read a copy of the book as a print out and it's a fine novel. The cover is lovely. Can't wait to get one. And I'm eagerly waiting for the next adventure.

Love the realistic people, especially the woman untouched by scalpelled hands. Beautiful design, too.

I've just got back from the communications blackout of Worldcon, the Outer Hebrides, and the Milford workshop, hence my silence, but I am delighted with this cover! Absolutely brilliant and I have been showing it off to people right, left and centre. A big thank you to Night Shade for this, and of course to Jon and Claudia.

I just finished Snake Agent and I have to say I loved the book. The story was very well written, the characters were great, and I can't wait for more. I will definitely pick up any others in this series.
Best of luck, and keep writing!!

Rainy afternoon here in Southern Ontario and, poking about, I saw Dave's post. That goes ditto for me.
I must be one of the few people who read 'Snake Agent' before I got into 'Banquet' and I found it fascinating to see how you had re-grown a short story into a novel.
You can sign me up for any further chronicles too!
Best in '06.

I received my copy yesterday, and I can't say enough about the cover -- truly one of the most striking and lovely I've ever seen. Just reading the inside dustjacket flap has me hooked; I'm REALLY looking forward to this!

Jonathan, thanks so much! What a kind thing to say!
And Jeff, I hope it lives up to its cover! I've just seen the cover for DEMON AND THE CITY (the next book) and that's blown me away, too.
