...at least, I fervently hope it is. I've been trying to get this updated and running for the last few months, but with the invaluable help of Interzone's Paul B, it's finally at:

http://www.arkady.btinternet.co.uk/index.htm

Very much in the teething stage at the moment: eg the pic of me winks coyly and then vanishes, which I'm trying to fix. It needs quite a bit of work - so...patience...All helpful suggestions are welcome.

Liz:

Looks great! I have GHOST SISTER on order, I can't wait to get it (and find some time to read it!)! The bio page wasn't coming up for me (nor the front graphic, but you mentioned that), but we're having LOADS of internet issues here. It's probably me sucking up bandwidth posting to this board or something.

Now I can show my ignorance; what's the red circular graphic representative of?

Thanks, guys. Not sure what's wrong with the pic...working on it, but I'll be away for a few days as of tomorrow. Still, not crucial. Most of the Nightshade lot know what I look like.

The red graphic is something that Yvonne, my trusty Druidic website designer, made up - she thought it looked kind of oriental and a bit like some of the stuff that's described in Ghost Sis. Kinda conceptual-lite.

Liz: the web page is looking for the pic in a subfolder called 'images', but the image is actually in the main folder. To fix it, either create a subfolder called images and move the pic there, or edit the reference to the pic in the page so that it doesn't have /images in it. Hope that makes sense!

Also: the links to your biog don't seem to work. They're looking for a file called biog.htm in the top level, which isn't there.

My trusty sidekick seems to have fixed the problem.

Here's the URL again:

- and a big thank you to Mr Rowan, who points out that if you move the mouse really quickly over my photo, it looks as though I have 3 eyes. I've explained that this is because I really do have 3 eyes.

Liz -- Great site! The photo-portrait is, well, eye-catching. And with those rings, I bet you could really fetch someone a good tolchock on the jaw ...

Did I ever mention I read THE GHOST SISTER shortly after meeting up with you in Brighton all those moons ago? I greatly enjoyed it. In the weeks to come, I look forward to dipping into THE POISON MASTER ...

Thanks, Richard! And hope you enjoy POISON MASTER.

The rings are actually for poisoning Those Who Offend Me. Daily, I anticipate arrest.

Thanks Liz! I think you are the first author ever to quote an Emerald City review on their web site.

Want direct links to the reviews?
