Hi Liz,
Neither Kelly and Gavin nor I got your new collection yet. Can you please email me the original dark stories asap so I can consider them for YBFH? I leave for Australia Sunday and by the time I get back it'll be too late.
Thanks
Ellen

John Klima has kindly offered to lend me one of his copies so that I can get it before I leave for Oz Sunday.

Oh great. I'll drop John a line to thank him.

Would you like a list of relevant stories so that you can weed out the SF?

Hi Liz,
If you can alert me to the originals that are really dark, that would be most helpful :-)

If I ever receive my review copy from Nightshade I'll replace John's with a pristine copy.

I don't seem to have your email address, so here's my list:

The Daykeeper
Orchidae
Skindancing (possibly more slipstream, though)
Dog Years
Dieudamour
The Banquet of the Lords of Night

Hi Liz,
Oops. Sorry. I don't know yours either :-) It's datlow@bway.net. You need to contact Kelly & Gavin to let them know which are purely fantasy stories. Do you have their contact info?

Liz,
I'm looking at the TOC--are any of the above stories first published in 04? Otherwise, I don't have time to read them. At least the first, in glimpsing at the copyright page has been published already in 2000.

It looks like only "Skindancing" and "Loosestrife" were published in 04.

Ellen - Skindancing is the story Charles was raving about it. He loved it. I didn't get to see it before signing off on my year's bests. - J

Thanks, Ellen! Glad you liked it. Yes, Skindancing is the only one not published before. Loosestrife is SFnal.

Ellen,

I just wanted to know if you've received the issues of _MudRock_ and the story I sent you. I forgot to include the postcard.

Thanks--Brady

Brady - might be better to move this to Ellen's board as I'm not sure how often she checks in here.

Best

Brady,
I have no idea. When did you send them and what year are they for?
I'm in Australia till the end of the month, so they might have arrived while I've been away.
