One, I'm an idiot. I posted this in the wrong place.

Two,

The notes for Mr. Wolfe's story in issue 8 of _Postscripts_ says there will be a special Gene Wolfe issue. 'Tis true? Oh, say it is so! When?

If the announcement was already posted, sorry 'bout the redundancy.

Hey! That was supposed to be double super top secret (although JJA pretty much let the cat out of the bag here).

_Postscripts_ reports a new novella entitled "Memorare." A Severian or Soldier story, p'raps?

Also, Mr. Van Gelder, I am deeply sorry I let the Wolfe out of the bag. But I am deeply thrilled to see Mr. Wolfe so honored.

Yes, the issue will have a novella entitled "Memorare." No, it's not in any of Gene's series. And you obviously didn't let the cat out of the bag, Sean, since POSTSCRIPTS already published something about it. Not that I particularly mind.

Almost all true---the story by Ted Chiang is a novelet, not a novella.

We've also got a novella by Ian MacLeod in the works. And a two-part serial by Matt Hughes running in the February and March issues. (It's the culmination of the current cycle of Guth Bandar stories.)

How'd *I* give it away? I just mentioned that we bought a tribute piece for a special issue, but I didn't say who it was for.

I was on a panel with Gene at Windycon, and he was plugging it with vigor. The cat (Wolfe?) is out of the bag.

John, we had a secret poll of all living writers after your comment and Wolfe was the only one who refused to deny that it was his story.

So, yeah, you pretty much gave it away.

Now we'll all be trying to come up with great compliments about Coming Attractions so Gordon will put our names in the magazine.
