I've been looking into sub agencies this week and while there are a lot of reputable ones---we do business all the time with QSP, EBSCO, Magazines.com, Genesis, Inc., and several others---I'm finding a few rotten apples in the bunch. These places tend to have the wrong rates for us on their Websites, their cover scans are blurry images of five-year-old issues, and their contact information rarely includes a physical mailing address. Has anyone around here had experiences (good or bad) with any sub agencies?

I think our initial subscription business went straight through the website. I have heard horror stories about subscribing through other places, but no particular agency was mentioned.
