On my blog, I declared June as Slush Writer Appreciation Month. As a way to celebrate slush writers, I'm going to publish a few interviews over the next month or so with some of the slush writers who I've rescued from the slush pile.

First up, is Mike Shultz, author of "Old as Books," which appears in the July 2005 issue of F&SF (on newsstands now or soon). Though it's not quite June yet, I'm going to go ahead and post the first interview now. Enjoy!
