John, shouldn't that be "Best Novelet"?

Congratulations to Ellen and to Gordon!

Charlie --

Well, that's the odd thing. She wrote a "novelet," but won an award exclusively for "novelettes."

I didn't realize that a "novelet" and a "novelette" were different things.

And I'm a huge fan of Ms. Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan books, so congratulations to her!

Just a joke, Greg. :-) They're the same thing, though the "novelet" spelling is infinitely superior, obviously.

I haven't read the Vorkosigan books, but I've read both novels in her fantasy series (Paladin of Souls, and Curse of Chalion), and I liked both quite a bit.

The Vorkosigan books and the Challion books are both wonderful.
