The cover for ‘The Voyage of the Sable Keech’ is now up on my website http://freespace.virgin.net/n.asher under ‘books’. A new look by Mr Rawlings.

I'll be at Forbidden Planet in London to do a stock signing (for Sable Keech HB and Brassman PB), on Saturday 18th Feb from 1-2pm. I don't think this is a sit-down job, but if you want a copy signed to you, and are in the vicinity, come in and ask.

Oops, some developments on that front. It seems it is now a genuine sat-at-a-table signing now. With posters and stuff too...

Neal

Spatterjay reminds me of this nonsense poem. It's not one of mine, but I like it. Here you go:

FOOD CHAIN

The flime devoured the floodoo
And the flummie dined on flime
The fleemer gulped the flummie down
In scarcely any time
The fleemer chewed the fleemie
But in hardly half a wink
He was swallowed by the floober
Who was eaten by the flink.
Now, the flink was rather careless
And was gobbled to the bone
By an enterprising flibber
Who fell victim to the flone
The floath who fed upon the flone
Soon met another floath
And while they wondered what to do…
…The flakker ate them both!
