"The Lute and the Lamp", the first story in
THE DON ENTRERROSCA TRILOGY by Rhys Hughes is the newest feature in The Virtuous Medlar Circle.
"The Toes of the Sun" will appear on 7 May
followed by
"The Promised Labyrinth" on 15 May.

I am thrilled with this trilogy. It is the first time that these stories will ever be seen together, putting them in the context Rhys meant them to be. And though the first two have been published before, "The Promised Labyrinth" has not.

Thank you, Rhys.

The marvelous (in all ways) concluding story - never before published - is now on:

Thanks Anna!

Good to know that this story is going to get read at last! It's my favourite of the three. I wrote most of it in Portugal and Spain last year. I think it's the most inventive 'chapter' of the 'trilogy'.
