You scored as Dante Alighieri. According to you most of humanity will spend at least some of their afterlife in hell. You have a high likelihood of being exiled, but anyone as bloody fucking romantic as you deserves what they get. You have an exceptional moral code, overshadowed by the fact that you yourself cannot uphold it.

Your existence bears a definite irony, although of fairly Christian morality, many pagans, satanists, communists, and intellectuals admire you and your works for all the wrong reasons.

Also, the brighest star in your sky is never going to be your lover...

It takes a lot of grief to be the cartographer of hell.

Oops Nietzsche!

I can go kill myself now...

Well you're an egotistical maniac, and you are so very iconoclastic that you probably are currently lost in a post-modern Jupiter, I mean jungle of self-definition. Don't let it get you down though, someday, through a willful onslaught of reinterpretation of dated forms and ideas, you will strike on something that passes as remotely new, and people WILL be into it on the basis of how hip it is alone. Also, the average espresso drinker looks up to you.

You scored as C.G. Jung. You are more of a spiritualist than would be immediately apparent. Some of your notions are questioned by the cynical, but deep down you know the human consciousness is more than the flesh and tissue can account for. You tend to take a scientific observationist look on matters the average person wouldnít even begin to analyze. You personally are responsible for most of the ideas that are floating around in modern psychologistís/psychicís paltry little skulls. On the down side, you tend to be associated with that asshole Freud.

My guess is Jung people scored Indeed on #34.

My Elvis cred went down with the pelvis thrusting question.

Did anyone actually say "Indeed" on #29? Wait, maybe I don't want to know the answer to that one...

(Though I had to take a tie-breaker, decided by choosing which of these three is most true: above average height, v disabled, v do you think the journey of the soul is one of moral choice. pretty much guaranteed a Dante result for the tiebreaker over Miyamoto and Hawking)

I'll note there wasn't much riding on the fence for this bub. THough I'm a little alarmed at my OJ Simpson and Charles Manson scores...

Not to sound like an idiot (oops, too late), but I just stumbled onto this discussion board.

I am a huge fan and my absolute favorite book is "Life During Wartime." I don't know if you want to start a new thread, but I had to put this here because it appears to be the most current and I wanted you to see it.

Is there a "subtopic" that I could post general questions that if you find interesting, you could answer or just acknowledge that you will ignore? Is there a subtopic that discusses your books?

In any event, I plan to monitor the board and, hopefully provide some meaningful contribution.

Here's me:
