Is this true? The first I heard of it was on a sports talk show! Are the Republicans trying to keep it quiet?

I blame Hollywood for thinking about bad Aerosmith ballads everytime a rock flies by.

Thanks, Mike. Kind of a letdown. And here I was looking forward to a weekend when, with earth doomed and thus freed from all moral restraint, I might take the opportunity to revenge myself on certain individuals.. :-)

I read it was supposed to miss earth by 238,000 miles. Some guy had a great quote: "The Earth has been hit before..." Oh yeah, buddy, y'mean like that one that wiped out the dinosaurs? Real comforting!

I have to admit, it would be pretty freaking hilarious to see how Katie and Bill O'Reilly and Joe Scarborough and Geraldo and John McLaughlin would cover the end of civilization. It would make for an enjoyable couple of weeks before we bit the big one.

Lucius, I guess you have more to live for than I do...:-) For me, it would be a bottle of cognac, the nearest available floozy in the crook of my arm, and Anne Curry on the idiot box trying to pronounce "armageddon..."

Hey, a man's got to draw the line somewhere. Now, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, THAT's another story...

No point in getting down about the end of the world.

They just found Noah's Ark in Iran, so all us good guys are gonna just get raptured up to Heaven anyhow! :-)

Well I guess we all made it.

So can we get a tv miniseries to explain it all?

The cultural apocalypse occured without notice sometime after WW2. Jesus no doubt returned shortly thereafter but was misidentified as Elvis. Etc.
