Well, the marvelous and brilliant Zali has finished updating my website, www.elizabethhand.com. A very different look than we had for MORTAL LOVE, and I'll be posting some more new material soon, brooding a bit about my new novel, GENERATION LOSS, among other things. I also hope to have an archive of all -- well, some -- of the myriad reviews I've written over the last twenty years. This will (I hope) include the nearly 100 reviews I've done for the Washington Post (can that be true?) as well as work published in Fantasy & Science Fiction, the Village Voice, DownEast Magazine, the Detroit Metro Times (my 1989 interview with Camille Paglia! my interview with porn star Candida Royale! also Marianne Wiggins!) and, if I could only find them, interviews I did with Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean for the late, lamented Reflex Magazine. If i could find the pieces I did for Penthouse Hot Talk on Philip Roth, Colette, Lawrence Durrell, Nabokov, and Henry Miller, why, I'd make them available too.
Sadly, readers, I lost them. But anyone who finds them kicking around in their basements should let me know!

Wow -- what a change! But I like it. LOVE the photos.
When I saw "BIOG" I thought it said "BLOG" -- imagine my disappointment!

I know! I thought that too -- so I decided to keep it!
Yeah, aren't those photos awesome? I thought they made a nice segue into GENERATION LOSS. I asked Zali if he could maybe put up a few of the others, of DeeDee andd Johnny Thunders. I actually bought the one of DeeDee -- it's fantastic. Also the one of Lou Reed, Warhol, and David Johansen.

Aye. More fotos will be gracing the walls of Winterlong Towers in due course, once I'm back from playing fake electro-acoustic ragas in Cardiff. Believe me, the Welsh really need fake electro-acoustic ragas.

Zali, we ALL need fake electro-acoustic ragas, and too often have to settle for fake electroc-acoustic rages instead. Hope you blow them away in Wales!
