Taking a break from the stylings of the Radio Typist and the wisdom of Andy Rooney, anybody watch the Idiot's press conference?
This guy's like a kid playing president in a high school play. It was embarrassing. This guy is falling apart.
When asked about the Iraqi response to our troops, he said, They're not happy at being occupied. __I__ wouldn't be happy if I was occupied.
This was the worst in public perfromance by an American president I've ever seen....

Mr. President, why are you and the Vice President appearing together in front of the commission rather than separately as they requested.
Bush: So we can answer questions...I look forward to answering their questions.
(The question is repeated, and looking very uncomfortable, Bush repeats his answer verbatim.)
"One of the hardest parts of my job is to console the parents who've lost loved ones.
It;s a chance to hug and weep and console."
"We are an open country. We are an open country who values openness...
What is your biggest mistake?
"Um, hem, haw....I sure something will pop into my head during the pressure of giving this press conference."
(He never comes up with anything.)
When in doubt he keeps referring to Saddam and saying he hated us.
The funniest thing is how his cabinet looked as he spoke -- they looked as if they were waiting for his head to explode....

"they were hidden like the 5000 pounds of mustard gas in the turkey farm!"

Oh, yeah. I love the bit when they asked him who the US was gonna hand over power to, and he said, Mr Braheeny is figuring that out right now.
Thank God for Mr. Braheeny...Maybe he should be president.
