These have got off to a good start: both in quality and quantity.

The past issues of Nemonymous are intrinsically valuable and should continue to increase in value.

All five printed issues of Nemo were lovingly produced by the traditional method of a one-off finite print-run, i.e 500 of each issue in total. Please see Nemo's Ark to read what Nemo writers have said about it and all the independent reviews linked from below. Until the end of 2006, past issues of Nemo - as a sort of seasonal gift! - are 3 each to UK addresses (originally selling at 5). From 1 January 2007, these past issues will be 10 each till stocks expire. Equivalent prices for non-UK addresses but with additions for postage. Paypal available.

Just a reminder:

But a word of warning that there are already (even in these early stages) some suitably great stories submitted.

Hey slow up! I can't cope.
You've got to the end of March. Please stagger.

PROGRESS REPORT
(In the light of the guidelines for Nemonymous Seven Submissions)

Out of the hundreds of stories already received anonymously, I currently still hold 36 stories. About 20 specific stories in this current group are expected to be included in the final shortlist of 50, and the others are still being considered.

Guidelines do not expire until 31 March 2007. As stated before, it is expected that the final 50 in the shortlist (chosen from the vast original anonymous bank of stories) will *all* be eminently suitable for inclusion in Nemonymous Seven. When those 50 suitable stories have been chosen, their authors will reveal their identity to the Nemonymous Editor alone. Therefore, further consideration until the final cut of to-be-published stories will depend on the author (friend, customer, big name etc.?) and the degree of delayed anonymity or random list anonymity etc required by the author and further reading of the stories and possible blending of overall theme in Nemonymous Seven.

I expect the final wordage of Nemonymous Seven to be quite large, so I am currently wondering whether to produce a proper book anthology this time.

As a result of a question elsewhere, I'd add the following to the above;

The story is the all-important factor.
However, if, say, it's a close tie between two stories both of which have already been considered eminently suitable when still anonymous, then - human nature being what it is - other factors may eventually come into being. I'm only fessing up to having a human nature. No other editor has fessed up to this before. :-)

Previous editions chose stories completely blind until beyond the point of categorical acceptance. I am now trying a slightly different experiment with issue Seven. The original guidelines made and still make the terms clear.

I'm afraid I've just issued a great number of rejections to anonymous email addresses in case you wish to look at your anonymous in-box!
