This seems like a good time to announce the next Wheatland Press project...

This summer (late summer) we will release GREATINGS FROM LAKE WU, a unique collaboration between Jay Lake, one of science fiction and fantasy's most promising new writers and Frank Wu, one of its most imaginative artists. The collection will feature 12 of Jay's stories with new illustrations by Frank Wu; in addition, the thirteenth story, "Who Sing But Do Not Speak" was written as a prose response to one of Frank's original paintings, itself inspired by James Tiptree, Jr.'s classic story, 'Love is the Plan, The Plan is Death.'

Watch the website for more information.

Cheers!

Deborah

Oh, rats. Let's try typing in that title again...

GREETINGS FROM LAKE WU.

GREETINGS.

NOT...the way I spelled it in the other message, but GREETINGS.

Sheesh. That's what I get when I try to hurry up and tell everybody somethin' I reckon.
