Thought I'd post this info here for those of you planning to be in Tempe...

Wheatland Press Party
Friday Night following the Big Autographing Session (10-ish)
Suite 2069

Come join us to celebrate the release of All Star Zeppelin Adventure Stories and this year's other new titles.

No truth to the rumor that we will have either a Led Zeppelin sing-along or Led Zeppelin karaoke. Hadn't even considered it.

Ooh. Maybe little Zeppelin shaped sandwiches too?

Wish I could make it down to meet all you fine Zeppelin and Wheatland folk (and Ellen, too!). There's always next year, I suppose :-)

Incidentally, if anyone wants to sample the character that appears in my ASZAS story, there's a prequel tale at Would That It Were.

Great, Ellen, see you there!

Robert, yes, try for next year in Madison.

Jonathan, don't give us any more ideas...I'm afraid I've already gotten carried away with this Zeppelin thing.

Deborah -

I'll be there - having missed both Worldcon (and it would've been my twentieth anniversary Worldcon, too!) and San Diego Comicon, I've been going through withdrawal. I need a good mix of old books, new anthologies, Ellen, parties about books, and a desire to give money to Greg Ketter. And Hartwell's ties.

And incidentally, "All Star Zeppelin Adventure Stories" is one of the coolest titles EVER.

BOOOOOOO.

I'll be at home, tending to my very pregnant wife. Okay, there's a whooping big YAY in there, but not about missing World Fantasy, my second favorite con.

re Zeppelins: always knew you were full of hot air. >>insert groan here<< Maybe I won't be missed.

Minz, send a bottle of that awsome Kentucky ambrosia you had at Wiscon and you'll have an absentee seat of honor.

Oh, Jim, I hadn't realized the time was so near...best to Sondie! (You got those little Badger Booties yet?)

Be great to see all the rest of you there.

I have a table in the Dealer Room this time, so stop by and say hello any time.

If we can learn how to animate the dead and Jim, Paul, and Rob arn't busy... we could have Led Zepplin perform live. I'd be there.

I guess I should say John Paul so there is no confusion. I don't know how well a corpse would be on drums, but some of our legends of rock still on tour are pretty close...

Thanks, John! I hope you enjoy it...

Minz, by the time my son was born, my dad had sent BOTH the Crimson Tide sleeper and the Indians sleeper and my mom had sent a Browns blanket. I come from a good family.

:-)

Thanks, all!

I'm absolutely thrilled to death for Bruce and Polyphony.

Feet? Ground? Huh, yeah, right. Not yet.

:-)
