Okay, it's all set.

Gonna be in Australia from about Sept. 21st through October 11th.

Cairns--first week (teaching a masterclass as an extension of the Brisbane Writers Festival)
Brisbane--second week (Brisbane Writers Festival--masterclass, panels, multi-media Ambergris presentation)
Sydney--third week (bookstore reading, etc.)

Gonna be at World Fantasy from Thurs through Sun. Hope to be on the programming, but more looking forward to seeing old friends/buying a much-deserving Minz a drink.

I do not plan to sleep much in Madison.

JeffV

PS Am skipping WorldCon because of the Australia trip.

Ann will have a most specific interest in World Fantasy this year, since she's a judge for the International Horror Guild Awards, which will be announced at WFC this year.

Wish I was coming to World Fantasy this year, but there's a good chance I'll be out of the country at that point. Nothing certain yet. Also, I don't think we could afford to go back there again this year; looks like WisCon (ironically, in the same hotel as WFC) was our big convention of the year.

Hope you have a groovy time in Oz.

You betcha, as things stand now. Booked and membered up (so to speak). We will see what happens on the continuing income search front in the meantime, however.

Hey Jeff, I noticed that Galaxy bookstore has you up on their main page as signing on the 6th of October - looks like you're the next major guest and some of the publicity has started.

Cool. I'm looking forward to that. And Australia in general!

Mr. V,

Any chance that copies of "Shriek: ..." will be available at WFC?

I might have a copy or two of advance bound galleys from Pan Mac, but the book isn't officially out until January 2006 in the UK and August 2006 (hardcover) in the US.
