Hey there. Finished the cover for Jeffrey Thomas's upcoming Punktown: Third Eye anthology the other day, here's a preview:

"Punktown: Third Eye"

Hope you like it, the book will be out later this month or early March.

Cool - it'll be out that soon? I'm eager to have it in hand, and can't wait for all the contributors to read each other's stories. I think people will find it a fascinating anthology. Again, Luis - great design work on your part! The artist, Travis Anthony Soumis, is a genius; he's also done the cover art for Prime's SEA OF FLESH AND ASH (two short novels under one cover by brother Scott and myself) and the hardcover version of my collection AAAIIIEEE!!! from Delirium. I'd be perfectly content if he did the covers for ALL my books from here on out.

What is that building you're standing against Jeff? I love that photo (except for your mug <g>).

I don't blame you, Paul; no wonder I hate to shave! That metallic building is even cooler on the inside than the outside - it's the Higgins Armory in Worcester, Massachusetts. I just went there again a few weeks ago. It's an amazing museum, primarily a collection of medieval suits of armor...row upon row of them. A lot of weapons, arms and armor even from India, Africa...samurai armor, etc. Fascinating place.

I'll have to check it out some time...er...the next time I'm in Worcester. <g>

Great cover!

Jeffrey looks cranky though. Why does Jeffrey look cranky?

Jeffrey looks squinty. Even on an overcast day, Jeffrey gets squinty. Fair-haired, pale-skinned, better off living in a cave, doncha know.

"Jeffrey looks squinty." Sounds like a kid's book. Or a cthulhu book...Jeffrey looks squidy.

Here's the trade-paperback cover. Very nice (good job again, Luis!)

PUNKTOWN: THIRD EYE is now out, and it's great! I'm biased of course. I love the look, and the two stories I've read (so far) are outstanding! Thanks for having me aboard for this, Jeffrey!

Thanks, Scott. I mailed the rest of the authors' copies out today and I can't wait to hear their feedback, too. It's been doing well at Shocklines.com, happy to report.
