Any news about a possible North American book tour to support THIRTEEN?

Yeah, details should be going up on my website imminently - there's been a bit of a logistical slip between me and my webmistress. But, for now and FYI:

Monday, July 23 - SEATTLE, WA
Time: 7:00pm
University Bookstore
4326 University Way NE

Tuesday, July 24 - PORTLAND, OR
Time: 7:30pm
Powell's Books
1005 W. Burnside

Thursday, July 26 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Time: 7:00pm
Booksmith
1644 Haight Street
San Francisco, CA 94117

Friday, Saturday & Sunday July 27th, 28th & 29th - SAN DIEGO, CA
Comic Con International
San Diego Convention Center

See you there!

Nothing but the Left Coast on this trip, then? Bummer. Good times to all you out West, though -- Richard puts on a good show.

It might be cheaper for me to fly to England than drive to Frisco. Ah well, maybe next tour. Enjoy the left coast, sir.

Yeah, sorry guys.....

update, btw, for those who can make it: The San Francisco gig has been pushed back to July 25th instead, and I'll be in San Diego from the 26th.

Any chance of a Worldcon in the next couple of years since no east coast love?

Yeah, you should absolutely go to Worldcon in 08. It's in Denver! They have mountains!

Denver is a thought - I was last there in 1991 and have good memories of the place (plus surroundings - Boulder, and up into the mountains) Plus I have at least one fan there who's offered to take me rock climbing - and I hear the climbing around there is stunning. Will have to give it some thought....

Have you ever been up to Sweden for Tour ?

It truly sucks being SFF fantasy over nobody in SFF or even other more mainstream genres like crime you like ever comes up here.

While I suppose it wasn't a tour, he was at Swecon 2007 - ConViction in Gothenburg. Sadly I wasn't able to attend.
