Hi, everyone --
If you happen to be a Chesley Awards voter this year, the Chesley Awards ballot was just released last night. The voting period is incredibly short and is over on July 12th. So if you're gonna vote -- don't wait.
My point in posting this is to let everyone know that the link that ASFA has inadvertently posted to my illustration shows an early comp and I'm concerned that voters will perceive this as the final, which it's NOT.
The correct final version of the art may be viewed at this link.
The nominated work in question is the cover for James Tiptree Jr.'s HER SMOKE ROSE UP FOREVER (Tachyon) in the Best Cover Illustration/Paperback category.
I'm not trying to campaign for votes here by any stretch, but I only want to get the proper info out to the voters, and clear up needless confusion.
Thanks for your time,

Congrats! I like it more than the Klimt cover for the original, and I liked that one a lot.

Thanks, Ben. Thanks, Bruce. Hope you're both doing well.
Klimt was an early hero of mine and some of his paintings still jazz me to no end, so that's nice of you to say, Bruce.
It's a terrific collection of stories and I hope the new edition will introduce Alice's work to a whole new generation of readers.
