Hi Lucius,

I'm guessing the title, Aymara, and title character's name are references to the folks talked about in this story,

http://ucsdnews.ucsd.edu/newsrel/soc/backsfuture06.asp

If so, I completely missed it in my ignorance. Did the Aymara people's perception of time inspire the time travel theme of the story?

Aymara is a great story and it has been too long since I've read it. I wish I had a copy now. I should correct that!

Thanks, RKC...

Yup, you got it. But don't feel bad. It's not integral to the story, and no one else never picked up on the reference.

Aymra is an excellent story; I wasn't aware of the connection to the Andean people until seeing the CBC article.

It reminded me that 'Christmas in Honduras' is coming relatively soon. Any word on that book, Lucius?

Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, everything's been pushed to next year. Big year, though. First half of the year, esp.

Cool, sounds like 'The Iron Shore', 'Softspoken', Viator Redux' and 'Christmas in Honduras'! A fine year with that line-up alone.

Anything else you're in the mood to reveal [like those pseudonyms]? aside from 'The Company He Keeps' and 'The Lepidopterist'? :0) Thanks...

The question I have is: how many Lucius Shepards are there? With all the movies you watch and books you publish, I wonder when you get time to breath. :-)

There are, by last count, three LSes -- Lucius, Lucifrage Roficales, and Lucien de Zongorra. Lucien writes the books, Lucifrage watches the movies, and Lucius travels around Latin America and follows football....

There may be more, but I can't be sure...
